I am a sucker for finding new places around London to tell here in the hope people who don’t know about them will discover something new. And cake. But this time, it wasn’t me. The two lovely ladies behind this discovery are Toni and Francine from T&F Fashion.
They’re two ebony beauties with a great style, creative minds and a love for free wine at fashion events. And Starbucks lattes. And East London. Any doubts we get along well?
Saturday T&F went to our favourite shopping place in London, Shoreditch. Where you can get high street fashion, vintage fashion, food and great bars, all meshed together. We love it.
After we ventured around nearly all the shops looking at the latest fashion we always like to stop and have a hot chocolate and a nibble to warm our cockles on a cold Saturday afternoon. We found this fantastic place called Kahaila Cake Shop.
We loved the fact that it’s cosy, warm and sells the most beautiful cakes, soups and hot drinks. It’s just great to have all those food fineries under one roof. Just what you need after a hectic day of shopping. All the cakes look so mouth watering.
The staff was lovely and super friendly, up for a good laugh. Considering they are very busy, they still have energy to serve with a genuine smile.
When in the area you have to take a visit and let us know what you think of the cakes especially our faviroute one. But make sure you have pre made plans for the gym beforehand….BE WARNED!!!
Pic 1) The soup of that day was Beef Stroganoff, always nice to have a cup of soup on a cold day. Its definitely getting cold too. Londoners, winter is coming!
Pic 2) That’s Miss T in the window getting highly excited at the sight of her faviroute Red Velvet cake.
Pic 3) Someone’s getting a mighty large slice there, could that be for you Miss T…watch those hips girl!!
Pic 4) Miss T outside our newly favourite cake shop, Kahaila Cake Shop. So excited she had to do a little dance outside to show her appreciation to the cakes. LOL
Pic5) Inside Kahailia Cake Shop where the staffs are working hard to get those orders in.
Pic6) Finally I convince Miss F that I will go gym to burn this off, but it was a must have and roped her in to getting some too…hehehehe the pull of Red Velvet is too strong for the both of us..lol
I’ve never had a Red Velvet Cake in my life, and actually I didn’t even know it existed so a trip to Shoreditch is a must for me now. I may even get a small cake for my birthday if I like it there.

I want this red velvet!!!!
Of course you can join my group! x
